The challenge this week:
"...your challenge is to make something in miniature, something teeny tiny." (Courtesy of Just Crafty Enough)
I was super into this challenge because I've been meaning to make a teeny tiny - yet very useful project - for a long time and needed the push to finally do it.
A teeny tiny flower pin cushion for my wrist. I've been absolutely terrified that the cat will get into my large pin cushion. So I've been shutting it in a drawer. But then when I'm doing a sewing project I bring it out and have to carry it back and forth from my work table to my sewing table so that I can keep an eye on it. Much easier to have a tiny one on my wrist. Then I don't have to constantly worry about it.
And in case you thought that this looks like a teeny tiny torture device, it really isn't. I crocheted a bottle cap into it to block the pins from poking my wrist. Yay!
A link to my project on Ravelry (where you can find the free pattern I used).
