Sew Mama Sew December Giveaway Week! (CLOSED)

**** This giveaway is now closed****

I went back and forth for a long time about whether or not I wanted to participate in the December version of the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway week. I have in the past and it was really fun.

But it's cold ....

Really cold....

Freeze your patootie off cold...

And that's not even as cold as it has been ....

Waaahhhh...

Most of my regular readers know that I was born with a heart defect and up until recently (2 years ago) I didn't have much of a pulmonary valve. Now I have one and it's fabulous! Most of the time. I didn't realize that improved circulation meant that I could feel every bit of the cold. I am walking around here like an arthritic, cracking, popping, sore jointed freakazoid because 32 years of low circulation in every joint means I'm a mess.

But enough complaining out of me. Did you look carefully at that photo above? Does it really say "Feeling cold? Click here to see how beer can help?" WHAT?!!

Awesomesauce... now I have an excuse to drink beer. Like right now. (Unless it's like 9:00 in the morning or something. I'm not that hardcore or even that cold.

Anywho...

I've got cute kids:

(Insert gratuitous photo of said cute kids here)

And I've got fabric to give away! SQUEEEE!!!

Let's see. Last May I gave away a bundle of my vintage bed sheet Fat Quarters and they went over like - um - something that goes over well - it's Sunday evening and I can't think anymore - maybe my brain is frozen?

So I'm going to do that again.

I have:

Raggedy Ann and Andy

 Strawberry Shortcake

 Cabbage Patch Kids

Charlie Brown

Care Bears

And I've got not quite FQs worth of Pac Man

Super Mario

And the coveted Holly Hobbie

And of course I'll throw in whatever else I can find. I might have some Winnie The Pooh kicking around here - maybe some of another Raggedy Ann and Andy print as well.

Here are the details:

To enter just leave one comment on this blog post. Because these FQs are some of my favourite childhood toys, tell me what one of yours was? Or what is your favourite toy now? I seriously need help shopping for my kids this year. What's cool now and from a time gone by?

Only one comment for entry please - I'm not gonna make you run around and clicky on things and "like" stuff this time around. (But if you'd like to, you can always check out the Tawny Bee fanpage - link along the side of this blog. Tawny Bee is my little shop which happens to be closed for holidays right now, but I'm still in serious holiday making mode and occasionally vent or explode with happiness all over my fanpage for all to see and potentially enjoy).

This giveaway is open from now until December 13th at midnight Central Time
I will ship internationally, so everyone can enter. I will email the winner (so make sure to leave your email in your comment or in the link to your profile on Blogger so that I can get a hold of you). If you don't respond within 24 hours, I'll choose another winner.

And be sure to check out all the of the cool Sew Mama Sew giveaways here.

Awesome fabric! I had a Raggedy Ann & Andy when I was a kid. I've also been saving any fabrics I can find with them on it to make my sister something. My favorite toy was a Pebbles doll. My evil sister was mean and pulled her head off! Believe it, it's true. I was in my 40's when I found another Pebbles doll at a doll show and I had to have her, hehe. Another favorite I had was of course a Teddy Bear and an Eeyore. My Mom gave each of us kids a different character from Winnie the Pooh. Good luck shopping this season! I never know what I'm getting the kids usually until I see it.

Thank you for a super giveaway and a chance to win.

That's some cool fabric! If I didn't have that toy my kids did. My aunt made me a Raggedy Ann and Andy set, I loved those dolls so much, I wore them out. Now they are in my glassed curio cabinet where they can watch the grandkids but are safe from their eager but ungentle hands. THanks.

I had a favorite doll named Cathy. I think almost all kids now like Mario, I know we all enjoy him.
