Today was Lane's first day of her second year of pre-school....
Um... that was a mouthful.
Let's just call it her first day of pre-k.
Here she is ready to go!
When she got there, she found her hook to hang up her coat. Then she went into the classroom and found her cubby for her shoes. She unloaded her bag, put on her shoes and asked if she could go play. So I gave her a hug and away she went.
She doesn't need her mommy :(
I know, that's supposed to be a good thing. But still, a little sadness about leaving mommy would be nice.
Oh well. She's old hat at this pre-school thing anyway. This year she's going for 4 days a week in the afternoons. Last year if you remember I had 3 mornings a week to myself. What am I going to do with 4 afternoons?!
(probably sit and sew potty training pants and sew them and sew them and sew them until the end of time... not that I'm complaining. They are really in demand and I'm swamped with 2 large orders this week and that's making me a little antsy about the prospect of sewing training pants forever and ever and ever....)
Take a gander at little Laney last year on her first day of pre-school.
