Mini Christmas Tree Quilt #3: Blue Christmas

I didn't want to get bored with making all these quilts, so I decided to change it up a bit with this one.

This one is blue!

And it's my most favourite yet.

Hmmm OK so it's super hard to see this really well when the photo is taken outside.

I even waited a week for there to be a sunny day to take a picture and this is what I get.  Oy!

I really need to learn photography.

Luckily, I took a photo of the quilt before I put the back and binding on it.  I used blue patterned Christmas fabric for the tree.  I used red vintage Christmas fabric for the decorations and borders.  I also found some icy blue vintage lace to put around the edges.

I used silver ric rac to accent the decorations on the tree.  You can sort of see the shiny stuff in the photo below.

This is my favourite.  It's going to be difficult to part with it.

But I think Terry will thank me for sending it away because every time I see it I want to break into song:

I'll have a bluuuuuuuue Christmas without yoooooooooou
Decorations of reddddd on a greeeeeeeen Christmas tree
Won't be the same babe if you're not here with me....

Yeah - I'm a crooner! :D

The next one is almost done and it is a white (snow covered) tree with a blue background.  Ooooh

And if you missed the first two I made, check them out here and here.
