Iron Craft #18 - All For Me

This week's challenge:

"Jenny over at A Mom and 2 Things has been telling me how she has been looking forward to school to start, so she has a little time for herself. I’m sure a lot of other moms out there are feeling the same way. So, this week I’d like all the Iron Crafters to make something for themselves. Soon we’ll all be busy working on holiday gifts, so let’s take this two weeks to be a little selfish." (courtesy of Just Crafty Enough)

So I made something that I've been putting off for quite awhile...

A fabric covered bulletin board for my studio/laundryroom.

I know it was a super simple project, but that still doesn't mean it was going to get done anytime soon unless I was given this opportunity.

I glued my favourite fabric to a cork board and then duck taped it into a frame that I picked up from the thrift store.  Retro cool eh?

And it hangs over my ironing board - since I'm always in front of it anyway.

Doesn't is seem like it is the small projects that often get put off because you always think you'll have time to do them later.
