May Giveaway Day with Sew Mama Sew!

****** The Winnipeg Etsy Street Team is having their summer promotion at the same time that I'm having this Sew Mama Sew Giveaway.  So if you'd like to enter to win an entire Etsy treasury full of awesome handmade items (including one of mine!), please click here and leave a thoughtful comment on the treasury (you can tell them that Tawny Bee sent you *wink*). If you want a copy of One Yard Wonders and some fabric, continue reading and fill out the form below*****

It's that time of year again.  The time of year I like to refer to as "Try your luck at a bunch of cool loot" day.

Actually, it's not even really a day anymore!  You will have almost an entire week to enter all the linked up giveaways.

Yay!

So here we go.

What am I giving away?

A brand spankin' new copy of One-Yard Wonders.

I got it for Christmas this past year from a dear friend who loves to encourage my sewing addictions.  But alas, I already have a copy.

So one lucky winner will benefit by receiving my extra copy.

Of course, you can't get started in on a book like One-Yard Wonders without having some "yards" to work with.

The lucky winner will also receive 3 or 4 or 5 or 10 one metre cuts of fabric from my stash.  Pictured above are the ones that I found at the top of the pile, but there will probably be more!  Ooooh.... Ahhhhhhhhh :D

And yes, I did type 1 metre cuts (which are slightly larger than 1 yard cuts). I'm Canadian and that's how I roll... ummmm... measure.... hehehe

Now what do you hafta do for a chance at winning all this loot?

Here's the ole' list.

I'm lazy this year so I'm letting Google Docs compile all my entries for me.  Awesome.  You should try it! :D

Here are all the details about this giveaway that Sew Mama Sew wants you to know about:
- I will ship internationally
- This giveaway is open until open until May 25 at 5 p.m. PST.
- I will email the winner by May 27th, 2012
- You will have 24 hours to respond before I draw a new winner
- I will ship the book and fabric out by June 1st.

Please visit the Sew Mama Sew link up site to see all of the other participants and enter a few thousand more giveaways (I mean it... there were hundreds last time and there are bound to be near 1000 this time).

Good luck to everyone!

It felt too strange not to leave a comment as well. What a nice prize that you are giving away. I wondered which part of Canada you live in?
Isn't it great to have friends who support your passion for quilting.

Yay, I've been hanging out here for ages (commented before, followed you on Pinterest a long time ago, etc.)... that fabric made me so happy! I like your taste in fabric. Isn't the same thing you see everywhere. Thanks for this!

(And yes, did do the form - but wanted to comment too!)

Hooray for metres of fabric! Nice to know that some people out there are metric :)

Love the giveaway.

I understand with the yard comment too. I could never figure out properly when it comes to yard measurement so to make my life simple, I remember it as 1 metre, thus always having some extras in hand. They got to be good in something, those scraps. Just don't know in what.

I would love the book. I don't facebook or anything. Only use the internet. Great giveaway!

Yay! Another Canadian!
There is an edition of this book that is measured in meters, but I am so used to patterns and tutes in yards and FQs that I just get confused :D
I would LOVE my own copy of OYW. I have the second book - Fabric By Fabric One Yard Wonders and it is awesome.

I have been looking at that book in the bookstore for a while now! I wanted to comment because I was wondering if you had yet discovered the Needle and Thread Network Blog? http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.ca/ There is a Work in Progress Link up every Wednesday, check it out, would love to see what you are up to regularly!

What a lovely giveaway! You are very sweet. :)

The fabrics are so beautiful and the book would be a nice addition to my sewing books library.

I know you didn't require a comment to enter, but I wanted to thank you for participating and to say that while it is lots of fun to win free stuff, most of the fun is meeting new people and finding cool new blogs to follow. I am enjoying yours and am following it now!

Have a great day!

I just wanted to let you know that I don't facebook or twitter and therefore can't pinterest - so although it felt really bad answering no to all those questions I have you bookmarked and that is kind of like following, right??

that was a strange form to fill in .. half English half German (I guess google is translating it's own text) - I know that one inch are two long centimeters and that is where my understanding of the inch/yard system ends ... ohh and I had to tick no every single time - I'm using RSS to read most blogs, easier to make it look like reading e-mails ..
