A Great Inventor

Sorry for not posting a Food Friday this past Friday.  And there won't be any Macrame Monday today either.

My anxiety spikes pretty badly right before a craft show and I was completely useless to everyone last week.

The Culture Days Craft market turned out wonderful.  It was really windy and my display fell down a bunch of times. But I made almost 3 times my table fees and handed out a bunch of calling cards and business cards and met a bunch of really cool people.

(more on the fun things I picked up at the market and the new vendors I met in a later blog post)

Anyway, there will be an awesome Food Friday this week that will show you a new way to deal with leftover stuffing from Thanksgiving.  It'll be yummy - I promise!

And Macrame Monday will back next week as well with a new knot!  Gotta practice up before making my plant hangar. :D

Since I'm completely drained of energy - anxiety does that to a person - I'll share some news that my brother forwarded to me last week.

Wilson Greatbatch, the inventor of the pacemaker passed away at the age of 92 on September 27th, 2011.  Of course this man has made an incredibly positive impact on my life and the life of so many others.  He lived a long and wonderful life and made a significant contribution toward science during his lifetime.

Read more about this awesome scientist here and here.
