I stepped up onto that scale and expected very little change (maybe even some weight gain).
But Zoinks! - I lost another 2 lbs!!!!

Anyway, I had a rough time of it this week. We ate out 3 times! ZOINKS! On Friday I knew that I was going to take Logan out for lunch to celebrate a successful full week of kindergarten. Terry was going out with his buddies for poutine, so I was allowed to have a special treat as well. We went to A&W and I ordered a Chubby Chicken burger, no fries and a diet Root Beer. Surprisingly, diet Root Beer tastes pretty much the same.
Then on Saturday we were out getting Logan's hair cut and buying a new bed for Lane. We decided to use our coupon for Joey's Only Seafood while we were out. Buy 1 Three-Piece fish and chips and get another for free. Do you know how many calories are in a three-piece fish and chips? A whopping 1200! That's almost my entire allotted amount (1643). Needless to say, to come in under my calorie limit, I had to walk Logan and Lane through the park and exercise for a long while on the elliptical.
Then on Sunday we went for free day at the zoo. We knew it was going to be packed, so we decided to get going early in the morning. That meant that we would finish the zoo and then come home for lunch. Didn't work that way though. It took us longer that we expected and we were all starving. So we stopped at Wendy's. Zoinks! I ordered a single burger (no cheese) and a side salad.
I stayed under my calorie allotment 7 out of 7 days (barely!) and exercised 5 out of 7 days. But what a fail of a weekend. I'll try to do better this weekend.
