We chose: Ice Cream Dream and Twinkle Toes
I love the idea of this nail polish. Since Lane is so young and really shouldn't be wearing nail polish, I haven't had a chance to wear any myself. I don't want her or Logan getting into that stinky, toxic stuff. But when I read about Piggy Paint, my mind changed.
It is safe for the kiddoes. I mean, you shouldn't let them swallow it or anything. But it's the safest you can get with nail polish.
Piggy Paint boasts all these awesome things:
- Water based
- Natural ingredients
- Free of formaldehyde, toluene, acetone, etc.
So one afternoon when Daddy and Logan went to a big boy movie, Lane and I decided to have some girl's time. We painted our toe piggies.
Getting a photo of a little wiggly girl is almost impossible. This one isn't bad. Because the paint is water based, it takes a little longer to dry and set. This is the only drawback to it though. And it does come out of the couch with Spot Shot if you catch it in time! Thank goodness. Because Lane is too energetic about dancing with her new Piggy Paint on her toes that she wouldn't sit still long enough for it to dry completely.
I put some on my toes as well. Although my piggies don't look nearly as cute. :)
Every time we wear sandals Lane likes to point out our Piggy Paint. And every time we're in a drugstore in the stinky nail polish aisle, she says, "Piggy Paint!" I think I have a cutesy little nail polish fan now.
