I just looked at my post count for this blog and that last post was number 666.
And I didn't make it very evil - unless you count that we stopped at Devil's Lake. I guess that will have to do.
Now on with the continuing adventures of Team LT on vacation:
We arrived safely in Thompson and hung around grandma and grandpa's house for awhile. They pulled out all of Terry's old toys for the kids to play with. I'm still not sure who had more fun with the Ghostbusters car, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and two Batmobiles (I think one was a Bat plane or something... not sure) - Terry or the kids.
For Canada Day, we decided to spend the morning at Paint Lake. It was going to be super hot, so we wanted to go in the morning. So nice that we did that because we had the whole beach to ourselves for almost 2 hours! :D Gotta love the north for that reason. No overcrowded beaches for us. Though the horseflies I could do without.
Lane - our little fishy - loves the water. She was already trying to sneak her way down to the lake while we were busy putting sunblock on the Logan and ourselves.
Logan is more of a beach kinda boy. He spent the time making canals for water to run down and into the lake with grandma.
Grandpa even found some of Terry's old sand toys to bring to the beach, so Logan was set.
Logan even took this picture of mommy - a rare occurrence. I am usually the photographer so I don't get a lot of photos taken of me. He's a pretty good photographer though.
Grandma and Grandpa were also at this little Canada Day outing, but I feel hesitant about putting pictures of anyone on the blog without their permission. Just know that they had a great time hanging out with their grandbabies the entire weekend.
So that was our Canada Day. How was yours? Did you do anything special? Were the fireworks fantastic?
Next up: Our adventures take us to the cottage.
