Remember a few weeks ago when I held a giveaway as part of the Sew Mama Sew May Giveaway Day? I received an email earlier this week saying that my winner Helen had finally gotten her prize. It takes a long time normally to send anything via Canada Post, but with this rotating strike business, it's taking even longer!

I'm so happy that she got the fabric and she said that she would let me know what she makes with it. I'm excited to find out! :D

Along with participating in the giveaway portion, I also entered my fair share of giveaways from everyone else in the giveaway lists.

And I won two prizes! :D

First up, I won a pair of pretty skeins from Berroco Lustra via Captain Creates. Gorgeous! These are going to turn into the most awesome retro-70s macrame plant hangar. I'm even gonna buy an old fashioned crazy fern to put inside of said plant hangar. So excited to try out the pattern with this beautiful earthy wool/tencil blend.

Second up, I won Modern Log Cabin Quilting by Susan Beal via Badlands Quilting. Can you imagine me actually learning how to make a real quilt? So excited to try. And for the beginner, there are clearly marked quilting projects to try out before I go and overextend myself with a full blown quilt. So awesome.

Have any of you won anything lately? I'm feeling pretty lucky today :)
