Helping Laney Understand Springtime

Yesterday, Logan began lessons in Springtime for his baby sister.

First, you have to put on a sweater and shoes instead of a winter coat and boots. Now that the snow is almost melted, you have to begin lawn maintenance. Lane followed along behind as Logan bubble mowed the lawn for the first time this year.

Here are the various parts of the lawnmower Lane. When you get bigger, you can have a try at it.

Until then, you can follow along behind and be on the lookout for any obstacles that might be in the way.

And after a long hard afternoon of lawn work, a nice soothing bike ride is in order. Logan is a pretty decent driver. He loved showing his sister how to ride a bike.

We're definitely going to have to buy Logan a real bike this year. Exciting! And we're going to get a big pull wagon to cart the kids around in since Logan has outgrown the double stroller, but might be too young yet to walk all the way to the faraway parks that momma likes to walk to. He did manage to walk the entire West Edmonton Mall all day, so maybe he could keep up?

I can't wait to heal so that I can participate in some of these fun spring activities. Come on body, hurry up already!

Does anyone else have Spring Fever? Or it just me?
