Apparently Google Does Own the Universe

It seems that I can't do anything without the help of Google lately. I can't check my email. write my blog, call Terry on something outrageous he says by Googling it, stalk... er... I mean spy on... mmm... I mean check for directions via Google Earth.

So why should wedding planning be any different? The Google love continues with Google docs. Did you know there is a whole wedding planning suite template on Google Docs? It's called "The All-In-One Wedding Planner". Terry and I have already begun using it and it's so helpful!

Here's the description that Google gives it:

This wedding planner helps couples organize and plan their wedding. It starts out with a budget page to summarize totals for big ticket wedding items, followed by many different sheets to track essentials like the guestlist, cake, favors, etc. The very last sheet gives a sample wedding day schedule. Share this with your fiance and family to coordinate and plan your big day! [Wedding Template Collection]

And the best part about the whole thing? We add it to our Google Account and Terry and I can share the progress from wherever we are. So I can look at what he's doing at home and he can add some items during a break at work.

For couples planning a DIY sort of wedding, this type of resource is invaluable. Check it out!

Chris created an Excel spreadsheet for our wedding. It had EVERYTHING in it, from flights to seating plans to guest lists. If things don't work out for you at Google, I can always send you our Excel file. :) Good luck! Let me know if you need any help.
