Two days ago I asked what I would make out of this "used to be cool 10 years ago" skirt and the leftovers from the XOX Bath Puffies I made a few days ago. Hint: Toddlers are CooCoo Bananas.
And toddlers need to dress in cute monkey shirts. Because monkeys are coocoo for bananas as well!
1) Attach Banana-lovin' monkey applique
2) Shoulders, sides and facings
3) Sleeves
4) Hem and snaps. I reclaimed the snaps from the blue jammies as well. Nice touch eh?
And voila! A Coocoo bananas toddler shirt. ***This toddlers shirt will be listed at Tawny Bee for $24. Half the proceeds ($12) from the sale will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as part of my Upcycle for Heart and Stroke 2010 campaign.***
