Cause and Effect for Babies

Logan laying in his crib at 1:00 AM

He thinks to himself: "Oooooh I can roll over"

Logan rolls over onto his stomach.

He thinks to himself: "ACK! I don't like this!"

Logan cries.

Cut to Mommy and Daddy's Room.

Mommy gets up slowly and shuffles into Logan's room to flip him over onto his back.

She drags herself back to bed.

Cut to Logan's Room.

Logan thinks to himself: "Oooooh I can roll over."

Logan then rolls over onto his stomach.

He thinks to himself: "ACK! I don't like this!"

Logan cries.

Cut to Mommy and Daddy's Room

Terry gets up slowly, walks to Logan's room and flips the baby onto his back.

He stumbles back to bed.

Cut to Logan's Room.

Logan thinks to himself: "Ooooooh I can roll!"

....... and so on and so on until baby finally gets tired enough to fall asleep.

It's a good thing Logan is so cute or he'd never get away with this!

You dismiss this logic as exclusive to babies, but I could point out a few examples that prove this applies to adults, too. Of course, I don't like telling people about the times that I'm dumb, so I'll just go back to "oohing" at your child.

I was just reminded of something my logic professor said. "All babies do is eat, poop and sleep. Eat, poop, sleep, eat, poop, sleep, poop, eat, poop, AARGH!!!"

That's why god makes babies cute
